This interactive virtual program will provide patient-centered training for doctors and other healthcare professionals and will emphasizes core competencies for responding to individual patient needs, values, and preferences by practicing communication skills such as open-ended inquiry, reflective listening and empathy.

 

The goals of this activity are for participants to examine synthesized data from completed studies, discuss the novel investigational agents available in ongoing clinical trials, and describe the rationale for and the results of studies that include novel agents to treat patients with advanced cancer.

 

This program is designed to equip clinicians with the indispensable knowledge, critical thinking skills, and hands-on training necessary to deliver exceptional trauma care.
