This series will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to manage the emotional and physiological symptoms of stress while identifying and addressing the system drivers of fatigue present in the healthcare environment.

 

The LMSA Instruction, Support, Training & Orientation Session for Advisors (LISTOS) was developed to create unity among medical trainees, faculty advisors, and healthcare professions with the goal of promoting the recruitment, retention, and promotion of Hispanic & Latina/o/x individuals in medicine.

 

This symposium will introduce a variety of central nervous system (CNS) congenital anomalies and the challenges of diagnosis and treatment.

 

The goals of this activity are for participants to examine synthesized data from completed studies, discuss the novel investigational agents available in ongoing clinical trials, and describe the rationale for and the results of studies that include novel agents to treat patients with advanced cancer.

 

Meaning and Purpose in Medicine (MPM) aims to address the need to maintain a sense of meaning in the face of health care pressures that can cause moral distress.

 

This activity primarily intends to close gaps in knowledge and awareness of the many issues currently affecting the care of patients living with HIV.
