Congenital Diarrheas and Enteropathies poses unique challenges for pediatric patients. This session will discuss strategies for treatment of these disorders.
Target Audience
This activity is designed for physicians, dieticians, and other healthcare professionals dedicated to the improving nutritional health among pediatric patients.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- List the key features and genetics of Congenital Diarrheas and Enteropathies (CODEs);
- Describe the challenges patients with CODE disorders face;
- Discuss recent advances in the evaluation and biology of CODE disorders;
- Describe aspects of the nutritional management of CODE disorders.
