Zolik Family Pediatric Nutrition Month: Management of Pediatric Obesity: The Evidence and Practice

March 28, 2023
We invite you to join us for the Zolik Family Pediatric Nutrition Month CME webinar series! These free webinars will feature pediatric nutrition experts from around the country sharing information to assist you in caring for your patients and their families.

The Pediatric Nutrition Month CME webinar series is made possible thanks to a philanthropic gift from the Zolik Family.

The prevalence of obesity is increasing yearly, and children with obesity have unique nutrition needs. This session discusses the micronutrient deficiencies in children with obesity and their health consequences. Nutrition can help improve glycemic control and prevent other illnesses and complications, especially if the child needs bariatric surgery. It will also review current evidence-based diets for weight loss discussed in clinical journals.
