The Different Faces of Trauma
Chicago, IL US
July 21, 2026
This workshop will enhance clinicians' ability to recognize, assess, and accurately diagnose trauma-related presentations across diverse clinical contexts. Participants will develop practical, evidence-based skills in trauma-informed intake, screening, interviewing, and differential diagnosis to identify the full spectrum of post-traumatic presentations, including PTSD, dissociative, somatic, and comorbid conditions, while minimizing the risk of re-traumatization. By strengthening these competencies, the workshop will improve early identification, appropriate referral, and treatment planning for trauma-exposed individuals.
