Managing Anaphylaxis

Naperville, IL US
June 24, 2026
This activity is designed for primary care nurses to strengthen the recognition and management of anaphylaxis in outpatient and primary care settings. It will review diagnostic criteria and severity assessment, current recommendations for epinephrine dosing and administration, and emerging delivery options, including intranasal epinephrine formulations. The activity addresses a critical practice gap in the early identification and timely treatment of anaphylaxis, as delayed epinephrine administration remains a major contributor to adverse outcomes. By the end of the session, participants will be better equipped to recognize anaphylaxis promptly, initiate appropriate first-line treatment without delay, and apply evidence-based management strategies in their clinical practice. The intended outcome is improved patient safety through more timely, consistent recognition and treatment of anaphylaxis by frontline nursing professionals.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for nursing staff at Duly Health and Care.
