ForwardImprovement and Implementation Curriculum: Foundations of Data-Driven Improvement
This activity teaches clinicians how to confidently use high-quality data to guide decisions, measure progress, and drive meaningful change. Participants explore UCM’s analytics ecosystem, key data quality principles, and the Data-to-Action Cycle, gaining practical skills to turn raw data into reliable insights that strengthen improvement and implementation efforts.
Target Audience
This activity is designed for clinicians and multidisciplinary project teams seeking to build the skills necessary to lead quality improvement and implementation efforts across UChicago Medicine.

After this activity, participants will be able to:
- Describe UChicago Medicine’s analytics ecosystem, including processes for accessing trusted data sources and submitting data requests.
- Explain how data quality influences the reliability of analytics used in clinical improvement.
