ECHO-Chicago: Pediatric ADHD & Autism
April 2, 2026 to July 16, 2026
Bringing Expert ADHD & Autism Care Closer to Home
Primary care clinicians are often the first, and sometimes only, providers families can access for ADHD and autism care. This interactive series gives clinicians the practical tools, expert guidance, and peer support needed to diagnose and manage these conditions in pediatric primary care confidently.
Through telementoring and real-world case discussions, participants will learn how to:
- Diagnose ADHD using DSM-5 criteria in primary care
- Implement AAP guideline-based treatment strategies
- Manage stimulant and non-stimulant medications
- Counsel families on behavioral and psychosocial interventions
- Coordinate care with therapists, schools, and specialists
- Differentiate ADHD from autism during pediatric evaluation
Participants will join a statewide learning community of clinicians across Illinois, sharing strategies to address common challenges in ADHD and autism care.
By strengthening clinicians’ skills and confidence, this program helps expand access to timely diagnosis and evidence-based treatment, so more children and families get the support they need, when they need it.
