This activity is designed for hematologists, medical oncologists, pathologists, fellow and resident trainees, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, and all healthcare professionals dedicated to the treatment of hematologic cancers.

Learning Objectives

After this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the clinical implications of key practice-changing data presented at the 2026 American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting.
  • Explain the pathogenesis, diagnostic evaluation, and current therapeutic approaches for common classical hematologic disorders, including newly approved therapeutic classes such as menin inhibitors and next-generation BCL-2 inhibitors.
  • Apply current evidence to optimize patient selection, timing, and conditioning strategies for stem cell transplantation in patients with high-risk and relapsed/refractory hematologic malignancies.
  • Interpret emerging clinical trial evidence evaluating cellular therapies for hematologic malignancies to inform evolving standards of care.
  • Differentiate the roles of targeted therapies, cellular therapies, and clinical trial options across treatment pathways for patients with lymphoid malignancies, including relapsed/refractory disease.
  • Compare evolving treatment paradigms and sequencing strategies for patients with multiple myeloma, including CAR T-cell therapies, BCMA- and GPRC5D-directed bispecific antibodies, and dual-antigen targeting approaches.
  • Evaluate treatment sequencing strategies for patients with lymphoma by integrating evidence for novel agents across newly diagnosed and relapsed/refractory disease settings.
  • Assess international trends in the management of hematologic malignancies for their relevance to local clinical practice.
