San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium Update 2018

This symposium will provide the audience with a concise update on important new clinical and translational breast research studies that were presented at the annual San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium in December. It will also provide a forum for NorthShore and University of Chicago physicians to discuss current practice guidelines and potential future collaborations for clinical trials and research studies. 

Target Audience

The target audience includes physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in breast disease specialties.

Learning Objectives

After participating in this conference, participants will be able to:
  • To learn about new clinical trials for breast cancer treatment, prevention and surveillance.
  • To learn about translational research findings that impact patient care.
  • To define new treatment trends in breast cancer.
  • To learn about trends in the incidence and prevalence of breast cancer.
  • To learn about management of benign breast disease.
  • To learn how to assess patients at increased risk for breast cancer and apply these skills to manage these patients.
