Learning Objectives:
1. Be able to diagnose and identify the various causes and treatments of intestinal fallure in the pediatric population
2. Given a patient on long-term home parenteral nutrition, the resident is able to identify signs of catheter-associated bloodstream infection, signs of liver disease, and signs of micronutrient deficiencies.
3. Be able to define intestinal adaptation and recognize that it is a long term process that may evolve over many years.
