Target Audience
This activity is designed for basic and translational researchers, hematology and medical oncology physicians and fellows, immunologists, and other healthcare professionals interested in tumor immunology and cellular immunotherapy.
Learning Objectives
After this activity, participants will be able to:
- Recall current applications of CAR T-cell therapy in hematologic malignancies;
- Identify relevant targets and new therapeutic approaches for cellular therapy in solid tumor malignancies;
- Define the concept of epitope editing and how it may facilitate the broader application of cellular therapy treatments;
- State current advances in cellular therapy engineering including in vivo transduction and through the use of nanoparticles;
- Describe current approaches and challenges using cellular therapy in patients with solid tumor malignancies;
- List some of the mechanisms of relapse and resistance to cellular therapy;
- Discuss current strategies using cellular therapy for the treatment of viral infections and associated conditions;

DAVID RUBENSTEIN FORUM
The David Rubenstein Forum combines a variety of spaces, both formal and informal, large and small, calm and animated, focused and diffuse, scheduled and spontaneous. Its ten-story tower features vibrant and distinct “neighborhoods.” For example, the third and fourth floors are home to Friedman Hall, a 285-seat auditorium optimized for spoken word, including keynote speeches, invited-speaker addresses, and select performances; these floors and other neighborhoods are connected by a two-story lounge. Meeting rooms on the eighth and ninth floors feature premium furnishings, finishes, and equipment, such as the Peter May Boardroom, a tiered meeting space that seats over 70. The Rubenstein Forum’s unique position on the Midway allows for expansive views toward the campus and surrounding communities as well as downtown Chicago and Lake Michigan.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
Check-in time is 3:00 PM. Check-out time is 12:00 PM.
LATE CHECK-OUT FEE
If a guest wishes to check out after the 12:00 PM check-out time, a late check-out fee may be charged to that guest's individual account. Although the hotel will attempt to accommodate the requests for late check-out, this option may not be available to all guests based on the hotel’s occupancy and housekeeping requirements.
INDIVIDUAL CANCELLATION
A 24-hour cancellation policy will apply to each individual reservation. To avoid a one-night room and tax cancellation penalty, reservations must be cancelled by 3 PM CST 24 hours before the arrival date of September 21, 2023.

Complimentary valet parking will be available to participants 7:30 am-6:30 pm on the date of the symposium. Additionally, free street parking is available in the area.
