Objectives

1. Discuss background literature of Barrett's esophagus and current surveillance modalities.

2. Explain risk of progression to esophageal cancer and risk of progression (BEAR) score.

3. Discuss and identify genetic and pathological biomarkers necessary to add  to and enhance risk  score algorithm.
