Well-Being Month 2026: Flawed? Get to ‘Done’ and Improve Wellness by Escaping the Dangers of Perfectionism
January 28, 2026 to February 20, 2026
These activities aim to raise awareness of burnout among healthcare professionals and present strategies for promoting resilience, which will improve practitioner health and, ultimately, patient outcomes.
We all want to be productive and innovative in our work, but without compromising our wellness. The problem, however, is that perfectionism causes us to get stuck in the process. It commonly sits at the core of procrastination, imposter syndrome, and patterns of toxic team dynamics. This session provides a practical roadmap for improving our performance and wellness by tackling perfectionism using evidence-based principles and strategies that will ultimately lead to improved patient care.
