Trauma-Informed Training
February 19, 2026
This activity will strengthen the institution’s capacity to deliver trauma-informed care by providing healthcare professionals with foundational knowledge, practical clinical tools, and resilience strategies that support safer, more responsive, and sustainable care environments. By equipping participants with a shared trauma-informed framework, this initiative aims to increase knowledge, skills, and confidence in applying trauma-informed principles in daily practice; improve patient–provider interactions and patient engagement; and reduce the risk of re-traumatization during clinical encounters. In parallel, the activity promotes workforce well-being by strengthening staff resilience and decreasing the risk of compassion fatigue and burnout. Collectively, these efforts support improved patient outcomes and contribute to a more consistent, equitable, and healing-centered care environment aligned with organizational priorities for safe and compassionate care delivery.

This activity is designed for clinicians and staff in pediatric emergency medicine.
