Traumatic Brain Injury Symposium

This is a multi-disciplinary symposium which will address aspects of concussion from sports sidelines to clinical care and from the cellular level to clinical practice to improve understanding of concussion and how it translates to patient practice.

Target Audience

This activity has been designed for physicians and other healthcare professionals interested in or participating in patient concussion management.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to:

  • Gain an understanding of potential long-term consequences of mild TBI, including risk for neurodegenerative disease;
  • Identify contributors to the concussion symptom complex such as cervicogenic dysfunction;
  • Gain competence in management of associated diseases and dysfunctions.
