Target Audience
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to:
- Identify the novel immunohistochemical and molecular markers recently published in literature;
- Describe the utility of novel immunohistochemical and molecular markers in clinical practice;
- Select a differential diagnostic procedure to identify a disease entity where multiple alternatives are possible in challenging surgical pathology cases;
- Recognize the appropriate pathology tools such as molecular testing and stains that can be used to solve specific diagnostic dilemmas;
- Describe new updates in the WHO classification systems of tumors and how they affect pathology practice.
