SAMS 6th Annual National Symposium - Innovations & Transformations in Healthcare

SAMS is hosting its 6th Annual National Symposium in Tampa, FL on February 18, 2023. The symposium will bring together physicians, allied health professionals, students, and humanitarians. This year’s conference will focus on the theme of “Innovations and Transformations in Healthcare.” It will feature presentations and lectures from academics, humanitarian workers, and members of the Syrian-American community.

Target Audience

This activity has been designed for clinicians and other healthcare professionals interested in in healthcare recovery post-conflict and in a pandemic era through innovation.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Assess new trends in business and medicine;
  • Creating a model to replicate in simulation centers that can be used to train practitioners locally and abroad;
  • Critique the burden and efforts of cardiovascular disease and care in areas of Subsaharan Africa and Syria;
  • Apply advances in cancer genetic immunotherapy, minimally invasive urology, and molecular medicine into practice given new groundbreaking technologies and screening tools.
