San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium Update 2023

The San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium Update (SABCSU) is an annual meeting hosted by NorthShore and the University of Chicago to discuss important studies presented at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS). The SABCS is an international multidisciplinary conference where seminal clinical trials and translational studies on breast cancer are presented. The SABCSU is an opportunity for physicians and other healthcare providers that could not attend the SABCS to learn about the latest studies and to stay current with breast cancer management.

Target Audience

The target audience includes physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in breast disease specialties.

Learning Objectives

After participating in this conference, participants will be able to:

  • To assess clinical trials about management of hormone receptor positive breast cancer;
  • To assess new management strategies for metastatic breast cancer;
  • To apply clinical trials findings to surgical management of patients with multicentric breast cancer;
  • To assess management of breast cancer in pregnant patients.
