Inclusive Communication and Practice
Chicago, IL US
December 11, 2024
Reflection is crucial to clinical and administrative work; it sustains critical thinking, learning, and self-awareness. Intentional opportunities for health and wellness professionals to actively reflect and review previous learning can increase the consolidation of skills and integration into existing practices. Through group activities and small group discussions, participants in this session will review and practice active listening skills and individuation exercises to foster inclusion and belonging. It will foster openness, curiosity (non-judgmental communication), and a deeper understanding of diverse perspectives, ultimately promoting a more inclusive and empathetic environment.
