Pediatric Urology Surgery Robotic Mini-Fellowship

Chicago, IL US
July 22, 2026 to July 28, 2026
Advance Your Expertise in Pediatric Robotic Urologic Surgery!

This intensive week-long mini-fellowship offers a unique opportunity for surgeons to gain advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in pediatric robotic urologic surgery under the guidance of expert faculty. As minimally invasive robotic techniques continue to transform surgical care, proficiency in these approaches is increasingly important for optimizing patient outcomes, reducing recovery times, and enhancing the surgical experience for children and their families.

Participants will develop practical skills and evidence-based strategies that can be directly applied in their own practice settings, helping expand access to specialized pediatric robotic surgery around the world. Through immersive training and mentorship, learners will be equipped to bring innovative surgical techniques back to their institutions and improve the quality of care delivered to pediatric patients with both routine and complex urologic conditions.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for physicians specializing in pediatric urology, pediatric surgery, pediatric urologic surgery, and urologic surgery.

Learning Objectives

After this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Outline several methods to manage complications during robotic surgery;
  • Discuss several strategies to decrease the time performing robotic surgery;
  • Compare the healthcare outcomes from robotic surgery to other surgical methods using the metrics of recovery time, incisions, length of stay, and patient-reported quality of life after surgery;
  • Perform a robotic surgery safely and independently.
