Zolik Family Pediatric Nutrition Month: Overview of NHLBI Guidelines: Review with Real Life Cases

March 15, 2022
We invite you to join us for the Zolik Family Pediatric Nutrition Month CME webinar series! These free webinars will feature pediatric nutrition experts from around the country sharing information to assist you in caring for your patients and their families.

The Pediatric Nutrition Month CME webinar series is made possible thanks to a philanthropic gift from the Zolik Family.

The National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) Guidelines was published 10 years ago. The adoption of many recommendations has been slow, but pediatric populations are now receiving more universal screenings of lipids. Preventive cardiology programs have expanded from focusing on children who are genetically predisposed to early atherosclerosis to children who have a wide variety risk factors including lifestyle, poor food choices, obesity, and hypertension. This session will present a brief review of guidelines and real case studies will be presented.
