Novel Multidisciplinary Strategies for the Treatment of Neuroendocrine Tumors

This activity is designed to address existing gaps by equipping clinicians with practical insights into innovative, multidisciplinary strategies to diagnose and treat neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). Through expert-led presentations and interprofessional roundtable discussions, participants will deepen their understanding of emerging therapies, collaborative care models, and best practices. It will strengthen coordination among specialties by providing practical tools and shared protocols to consistently apply evidence-based approaches across the continuum of care, ultimately improving patient outcomes.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, endocrinologists, gastroenterologists, pathologists, radiologists, internal medicine physicians, and other healthcare professionals involved in the care and management of patients with neuroendocrine tumors.

Learning Objectives

After this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Apply current clinical guidelines and recent advances to optimize diagnostic and treatment decision-making for neuroendocrine tumors (NETs);
  • Facilitate effective interprofessional communication to improve care coordination for complex NET cases;
  • Analyze opportunities to incorporate emerging targeted therapies and personalized approaches into routine clinical workflows;
  • Design a multidisciplinary care plan for patients with NETs that integrates surgical, medical, and supportive interventions.
