Target Audience

This activity is intended for primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and pharmacists.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Recognize the importance of timely diagnosis and treatment in patients at higher risk of severe disease
  • Identify patient characteristics contributing to an increased risk of progressing to severe COVID-19
  • Select timely and appropriate treatment interventions in adults with increased risk factors for severe disease
