This activity will focus on discussion pertinent to the management of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and machine preservation for livers in transplantation.

Target Audience

This activity has been designed for physicians and other healthcare professionals interested in the treatment of liver disease.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Describe new diagnostic and therapeutic options available to patients in the management of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease;
  • Discuss clinical effects of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease on patients;
  • State how emerging trends and surgical treatment options in the management of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease can improve practice and patient outcomes.
