Leadership Connections

Leadership Connections will enhance leadership capability and strengthen relationships (physician, clinical and administrative) through a series of engaging learning experiences. Leaders will develop themselves and others, supporting their growth and effectiveness, and lead to outcomes supporting NorthShore's partnership value drivers of Innovation & Partnership and Physician Partnership for Mutual Success. The Leadership Connections program will take place from April 2022 through January 2023. It consists of five learning experiences delivered in-person and virtually and facilitated in partnership with the Center for Creative Leadership.

Target Audience

This activity has been designed for an interprofessional audience with direct patient interaction and for those interest in careers in administration.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Apply Direction-Alignment-Commitment™ framework as a tool to understand leadership in organizations;
  • Provide effective feedback and coaching to colleagues and patients alike;
  • Use a tool that aides in self-awareness and self-management of emotions;
  • Lead and collaborate across organizational and geographical boundaries.
  • Use a variety of influence styles to scale their impact.
  • Employ a research-based framework to assess the needs, characteristics and dynamics of a team.
