Korean Medical Health Forum 2016

The goal of this health forum is to provide Korean speaking primary care physicians and specialists with the most updated clinical information related to back pain, heart failure, breast reconstruction and ischemic stroke, so that they can better address health conditions of Korean American patients.

 

Target Audience

This activity has been designed for physicians and other healthcare professionals interested in addressing the health conditions of Korean American patients.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, the participants should be able to:

  • Recall how to diagnose osteoporosis and how to prevent osteoporotic compression fractures;
  • Describe strategies to expand the heart and lung donor pool, including ex vivo organ perfusion;
  • Compare the differences between alloplastic and autologous breast reconstruction;
  • Identify neurointerventional techniques for acute ischemic stroke treatment.
