Intercultural Communications Conflict Inventory Workshop - OBGYN

Evanston, IL US
November 22, 2024
At Endeavor Health, we are conducting a focused inventory workshop that directly addresses variations in cultural communication and conflict styles. Without this understanding, misunderstandings, conflicts, and challenges across cultures are only minimally comprehended, leading to different approaches for resolving conflicts and difficulties both individually and within teams. Recognizing and effectively responding to cultural differences in communication and conflict styles is crucial for team members to foster inclusivity, engagement, and a sense of belonging.

During this workshop, each team member will receive the ICS (Intercultural Conflict Style) interpretive guide, which provides in-depth information about their own communication and conflict resolution style across cultures. Participants will also learn about the four cross-cultural conflict resolution styles assessed by the ICS inventory, understand the strengths and weaknesses of each intercultural conflict style, and compare their own communication and conflict resolution approach to the preferred style within their own and other cultural groups. The workshop is interactive and facilitated.
