Topic 1
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:

  • Review and discuss general statistics related to heart failure;
  • Discuss most common cause of heart failure admissions and;
  • Introduce and review pulmonary artery pressure monitoring.

Topic 2
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:

  • List and review the elements of basic heart failure;
  • Understand and discuss where newer management options fit into the algorithm;
  • Identify individuals who may benefit from advanced HF team input.
