In this activity, participants will cover topics related to breast cancer screenings and Lyme Disease.

Target Audience

This activity has been designed for physicians in internal medicine and family medicine, residents & fellows, nurses, APN's and other healthcare professionals involved in primary care.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the clinical implications of a dense breast on screening mammography;
  • Articulate the additional methodologies and testing available to improve screening outcomes;
  • List the benefits of automated breast ultrasound;
  • Describe how to order and interpret testing for Lyme Disease;
  • Articulate the role of prophylaxis and treatment of Lyme Disease;
  • Distinguish the difference between IDSA and ILADS criteria;
  • Articulate the social impact on misinformation on Lyme Disease.
