Evaluation of Knee Pain

Knee pain is one of the most common musculoskeletal complaints. There are multiple etiologies to knee pain. Therefore, obtaining a proper workup leading to the diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan is paramount to achieving successful patient outcomes. This presentation will review the differential diagnosis of knee pain, workup of knee injuries, non-operative measures used to treat knee pain, and identify injuries that mandate a more urgent referral to an orthopaedic surgeon.

This presentation was originally recorded at the 12th Annual Current Concepts in Primary Care Sports Medicine, March 5-7, 2015 Chicago, IL.
