Enhancing Culturally Informed Care and Inclusive Communication Through Interactive Video-Based Learning
Chicago, IL US
May 19, 2026 to June 1, 2026
This session utilizes video-based learning and interactive group discussion to enhance culturally informed care and inclusive communication for health and wellness professionals. Video-based learning has been shown to effectively apply knowledge to real-life scenarios by increasing retention of information and skills, improving clinical and administrative decision-making, and fostering teamwork. Through a video that demonstrates providing culturally informed care for a diverse population, participants will engage in observational learning, self-reflection of existing skills, and peer-to-peer sharing of culturally responsive approaches. The goal is to improve inclusive communication, incorporate cultural perspectives into existing practice, and identify strengths and areas of growth, ultimately leading to improved delivery of health and wellness services.
