The Changing Face of Oral Cancer
The University of Chicago invites you to the 5th annual continuing education course The Changing Face of Oral Cancer. This activity is designed to discuss the clinical spectrum of oral pre-malignancy and oral cancer, understand the role of HPV and oropharyngeal cancer, gain insight into emerging trends and novel techniques, and discuss dental management of patients receiving radiation and chemotherapy.

Target Audience
This activity is designed for oral surgeons, dentists, dental hygienists, as well as physicians and healthcare professionals interested in the treatment of oral cancer.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify the clinical spectrum of oral pre-malignancy and oral cancer;
- Explain the role of human papilloma virus (HPV) in oropharyngeal cancer and describe the clinical spectrum or oropharyngeal cancer;
- Cite emerging trends, novel techniques, including immunotherapy, and future technologies to manage oral cancer;
- Discuss dental management of patient receiving radiation and chemotherapy.

Directions
From Interstate 90/94 to area parking: Heading either north or south on I-90/94, exit at Ohio Street. Follow Ohio Street east across Michigan Avenue to St. Clair. Turn right. Follow St. Clair across Grand Avenue.
From Lake Shore Drive to area parking: Heading either north or south on Lake Shore Drive, exit at Grand Avenue. Follow Grand west to St. Clair.
From parking lot to Gleacher Center:
Walk to southwest corner of lot. Go in doorway on left. Take stairs to first floor. Exit building at Cityfront Plaza Drive. Walk across the street to the Gleacher Center.
