Aortic Disease Symposium
Aortic disease is a common problem that is often misdiagnosed. This program will help identify patients at risk for aortic diseases. In addition, the program will provide descriptions of the most current treatment options from many different providers that are involved in the care of patients with aortic disease.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this course, the participants should be able to:
- Identify evidence-based treatment options for patients with aortic diseases;
- Recognize patients that are at risk for a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm based on a list of common symptoms;
- Characterize aortic conditions that can be treated in a primary care setting and those conditions that should be referred to a specialist for treatment;
- Discuss how clinical research has improved treatment options for aortic disease.
