Learning Objectives:

1. The vascular fellowship program is designed to prepare the fellow to function as a qualified practitioner of vascular surgery at the highest level of performance expected of a board-certified specialist.

2. By the end of the vascular fellowship program, the fellows should possess adequate knowledge of the anatomy, physiology and imaging details of the arterial, venous and lymphatic systems in order to deliver comprehensive vascular care.

3. To develop in trainees an appreciation for system-based practices, an interdisciplinary approach to care of the patient with vascular disease and an understanding of cost effectiveness and efficacy of clinical treatment options.
