Learning Objectives:
1. Review the definition and epidemiology of pectus deformities
2. Understand the familial and genetic relationship of pectus deformities to other pathologic conditions, in particular Marfan and other connective tissue disorders
3. Discuss indications and ideal age for referral to the UChicago Center for Chest Wall Deformities.
4. Review long-term outcomes for patients undergoing bracing for pectus carinatum or surgery for pectus excavatum deformities
