Objectives

  1. Review basic concept of the diagnosis and treatment of AE
  2. Review, in detail, the infectious disease work up for clients who present with symptoms of AE or PANS
  3. Discuss criteria sufficient to rule out infectious causes of symptoms that would warrant empiric trial of IVIG or steroids
