Objectives

1. Identify the benefits of musculoskeletal ultrasound over other imaging modalities in the evaluation of joints, tendons and soft tissue structures, particularly in children.  

2. Recognize how rheumatologists, both adult and pediatric, are using this technology to improve the care of their patients with arthritis.               

3. Understand the evolving use of this imaging modality in other fields of medicine.
