Department of Pediatrics Scholarship Week 2026

Participants will be provided with up-to-date information and evidence that can inform clinical decision-making and support the integration of new knowledge and innovations into everyday workflows. The design of this activity will highlight important developments in pediatric topics, including quality, safety, and medical education. It will also include both clinical and translational research topics.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for physicians and other healthcare professionals interested in critical updates in pediatric research and medical education.

Learning Objectives

After this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Identify recent advances in pediatric clinical, translational, and health services research.
  • Describe ongoing research initiatives within the department and their relevance to pediatric care and health outcomes.
  • Interpret emerging evidence and its implications for pediatric clinical practice and patient care.
  • Discuss how new research findings may influence clinical practice, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety in pediatrics.
  • Examine opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration across pediatric subspecialties to advance research and improve patient outcomes.
  • Evaluate the potential impact of emerging pediatric research findings on clinical practice, education, and future investigation.
