The 2026 Endeavor Health Cardiovascular Institute 2nd Annual Women's Heart Symposium is designed as a half day program for healthcare providers (physicians, advanced practice providers, RNs, residents, fellows, etc). The content will focus on ischemic heart disease and chest pain in women, specifically myocardial infarction with no obstructive coronary arteries (MINOCA) and ischemia with no obstructive coronary arteries (INOCA). Topics to be discussed include the differential and pathophysiology of MINOCA/INOCA along with diagnostic and management strategies.

Target Audience

This event is designed for Primary Care Providers, including Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers who focus their care on the unique impact of cardiovascular disease on women.

Learning Objectives

After the activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Evaluate the current terminology and epidemiology of myocardial infarction with non obstructive coronary arteries (MINOCA) and ischemia with no obstructive coronary arteries (INOCA) and sex specific considerations, particularly their higher prevalence in women;
  • Assess the key clinical features and pathophysiology underlying MINOCA/INOCA;
  • Differentiate major causes of MINOCA/INOCA and outline appropriate initial evaluation;
  • Compare the different roles of advanced imaging and invasive testing in identifying mechanisms of MINOCA/INOCA;
  • Apply evidence based management and referral strategies in the treatment of MINOCA/INOCA.
