After this activity, participants will be able to:

• Determine if accentuation of the Angle of His influences postoperative gastroesophageal reflux disease, weight loss, complications, and comorbidity outcomes of patients undergoing sleeve gastrectomy
• Discuss objective postoperative reflux testing, either endoscopy or pH-metry, would affect results of this study differently than symptom-based evaluation
• Identify methodological improvements and plan a multicenter prospective randomized study to warrant more robust confirmation of these preliminary results, paying attention to PPI use and its effects on reflux outcomes
