Description

The MIS Research Conference is a recurring educational forum designed to advance the field of minimally invasive surgery by fostering collaborative discussion and critical analysis of ongoing and proposed research. Through structured review of research protocols, study design, methodology, and outcomes analysis, participants will gain exposure to evidence-based strategies that directly impact surgical techniques, enhance patient outcomes, and strengthen surgical training practices. The conference emphasizes integration of clinical experience with research findings, promoting critical thinking, peer-to-peer learning, and translation of research into practice. By participating, attendees will improve their ability to design high-quality studies, critically appraise data, and apply research findings to optimize surgical care and education, aligning with the goals of CME accreditation to improve physician competence, performance, and ultimately patient health
