Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, patients will learn:
- Identify available treatment options,
- Identify various plans for treatment,
- Navigate the impact of day-to-day symptoms or treatment side effects,
- Determine when to alert the health care team to side effects experienced with treatment,
- Identify alternative treatment options with the health care team when current therapy becomes challenging (eg, treatment adherence/compliance).
