At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Define the mechanisms of action and side effect profiles of new gynecologic cancer therapies;
- Discuss how to apply recent results regarding use of PARP inhibitors in front-line therapy of ovarian cancer;
- Identify strategies to explain the efficacy results of immunotherapy in endometrial cancer to patients;
- State how to implement new developments in surgical practice of gynecologic malignancies;
- Determine the sequencing and combination of new agents used for gynecologic cancer care with current therapies;
- Identify contextual barriers to the integration of new gynecologic cancer agents to improve patient outcomes;
- Describe how ongoing trials using adoptive immunotherapy in gynecologic malignancies can potentially be used to improve patient outcomes.
