Objectives:

1. Understand the structure and role of proteins of the nuclear envelope;
2. Understand the approach to diagnosis and clinical manifestations of the most recognizable nuclear envelopathy/laminopathy; and
3. Different mutations of genes that encode the proteins of the nuclear envelope present with diverse clinical manifestations.
