Practical Approaches to Lymphoma Treatment for Nurses

The 16th International Ultmann Chicago Lymphoma Symposium (IUCLS) is an annual conference dedicated solely to the science and clinical care of lymphoma. In conjunction with this year's symposium, we are excited to offer an additional session that is dedicated to the educational needs of nurses.
 
Nurses face unique challenges when caring for patients with lymphoma as both scientific and clinical knowledge and skills are continually evolving. In this dynamic session, lymphoma experts will address the fundamental challenges nurses face in lymphoma care and how to overcome them.

Target Audience

This activity has been designed for nurses and other healthcare professionals dedicated to the treatment and diagnosis of lymphoma.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the evolving treatment options for patients with lymphoma;
  • Identify why survivorship is important in the treatment of lymphoma;
  • Discuss different toxicity management techniques for lymphoma patients;
  • Assess how to address the psychosocial impacts of lymphoma for patients.

Individual guests must make their own reservations by 5:00 PM CT on March 21, 2019. After the cut-off date, it is at the hotel’s discretion whether to accept additional reservations, which will be subject to prevailing group rates based on availability. An early departure charge equal to one (1) night plus tax will apply for check out prior to the confirmed checkout date. Guests wishing to avoid this fee must advise the hotel at or before check-in.
 
Individual reservations can be canceled at least 72 hours prior to arrival date without penalty. If a reservation is canceled within 72 hours of arrival, a 1 night room and tax charge will apply.
PARKING
Valet parking at the InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile hotel will be available to registered attendees who are driving to the conference. Attendees will be responsible for the daily valet fee of $71 USD per day. There is no self-parking available at the InterContinental.
