In this activity, participants will cover topics ranging from the epidemiology of STD's to first line and alternative therapies.

Target Audience

This activity has been designed for physicians in internal medicine and family medicine, residents & fellows, nurses, APN's and other healthcare professionals involved in primary care.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the epidemiology of common STD’s in a primary care setting;
  • List the appropriate testing techniques needed to confirm a diagnosis of suspected STD’s;
  • Describe the first line and alternative therapies for STD’s.
