Learning Objectives:

1. To evaluate whether comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA)-guided interventions, when added to standard oncological care, can prevent declines in physical performance and quality of life in older patients with frailty initiating palliative treatment

2. To determine the impact of CGA on physical performance, and its potential benefits for improving outcomes in this vulnerable patient population.

3. To examine the rate of decline of sarcopenia measures in older adults with cancer both before and after the cancer diagnosis compared with the trajectory of a population without cancer

4. To assess the association of sarcopenia measures with overall survival and major disability in patients with cancer
