After this activity, participants will be able to:

• Characterize reasons for preoperative bariatric surgery attrition within a single-institution medical and surgical weight loss program
• Understand patient reasons, experiences, and contexts that contribute to attrition of bariatric patients
• Discuss factors predicting bariatric subject follow-up success by performing qualitative interviews of the bariatric patient population
• Correlate clinical and sociodemographic characteristics associated with bariatric attrition with the intent of managing a better follow-up outcome of this patient population
