1. To understand mechanisms underlying vascular homeostasis.

2. To understand role of purinergic nucleotide release as a vascular “danger” signal.

3. To understand how vascular ectonucleotideases can squelch intra-luminal coagulation or inflammatory responses to
environmental stress.
